As a big fan of college baseball, I find the coaches fascinating. The Wake Forest baseball program has a great coaching staff.

Tom Walter took over as Head Coach for Wake Forest’s baseball back in 2009. Since then, the team has done very well. They’ve been in the NCAA Tournament six times and nabbed two ACC titles. Walter brings with him over 30 years of coaching knowledge. This includes being the head honcho at both Georgetown University and the University of New Orleans. He’s respected for his knack in molding players and building strong teams.2

Bobby Moranda serves as the Assistant Coach for the Demon Deacons. He boasts more than 20 years in the coaching field. This journey included leading at Western Carolina University and assisting at the University of Georgia and the University of North Carolina. His sharpness in player growth and helping athletes meet their top game is well recognized.2

Jacob Wilkerson volunteers as Assistant Coach at Wake Forest. His past as a player at the University of North Carolina Wilmington gives him insight. He helps the coaching staff with practices, player growth, and game preparations.2
